Digital Genesis is an audiovisual exploration of the power of creation given to the word in digital space. It is an homage to William S. Burroughs and Brion Gysin’s collaboration with Ian Sommerville to explore their cut-up method of poetry with computer programming, using a random-sequence generator to generate permutations of the biblical phrase "IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE WORD." The visuals were created using Python and Touchdesigner and the sounds were synthesized using the Arturia Microfreak’s noise oscillator.
