i wrote this as a way to think through themes in this channel (https://www.are.na/leslie-liu/1ness) — the idea that things can be beautiful to serve a violent goal both unsettles and fascinates me. the promise that tech can solve all our problems feels a little too ethereal and idealistic, so i wanted to question (and in this piece, embody) this blind faith.
